Someone wrote an email to me recently asking what, besides the fact that this appears to be a group practice, makes The Buehler Institute, an Institute.  Good question.

First, this isn’t a group practice.  I am the sole proprietor, and any licensed therapists who work here are contracted to work for me.

Second, at various times I have had student interns here for training towards licensure. (I currently do not have such opportunities.)

Also, I do provide continuing education, and I will soon be putting continuing education opportunities online.

And finally, I will soon be providing supervision to people wanting to be sex therapists.

And that’s what makes this an Institute!
