Dr. Buehler holds a Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Southern California. She wrote and edited a multitude of books for an educational publisher and published three children's books while earning her doctorate in psychology.

More recently, she worked as an editor and academic consultant for an upcoming volume entitled The Encyclopedia of Sex and Society; written a column for OC Family; and contributed articles to professional journals such as Current Reports in Sexual Health.

Dr. Buehler also has a book on sexuality forthcoming from Praeger Publishing in 2011.
